Rockin Ribs — Restaurant in Wilkinsburg

This was my first time trying this restaurant. I found it on UberEats. I ordered grilled wings (sauce on the side), collard greens, mac and cheese, potato salad, and the meal comes with cornbread. I made a certain request that could not be fulfilled. Someone from the restaurant gave me a very polite call! That made me feel so good!!! I am very huge good customer service! They get all the stars for that. LOL The wings were very good and seasoned just right. Their secret sauce they put on the side is very good. I hate to say this, but I was not impressed with the sides. They were just okay. I will definitely order them again, buy they didn't quite give me the taste I was looking for. The greens were a little tart, the cheese in the mac and cheese had an odd taste, however, the potato salad was good. I would have liked it to be a little sweeter with eggs, but still enjoyed it. Not sure how the ribs are prepared- they’re tender enough to eat off the bone but not to FALL off the bone. No smoke flavor. The ribs are thick but they didn’t cut the fat off or char it for it to render off, so you’ll need to pick that off of you don’t eat fat. The greens were way too salty but the mac and cheese was bland and didn’t hold together. Cornbread is not bad but doesn’t taste homemade more like Jiffy. Sooooo why 4 stars?? My dad had this bomb food catered for a family event and this place just secured a bunch of new customers. For the 30+ ppl, each tray tasted homemade - like your family was serving the family classics.
