Where do I start. We showed up for our 7:30 reservation 10 minutes early and was told that our table was just getting their salads and we would have to wait. They did put us at a table about 10 minutes after our reservation time. After being seated, it took awhile to get our drink order in. When they finally showed up she took our food orders. We never had anyone come by the table for about 30 minutes. They then showed up with the salads that were not that good, and that is saying something when lettuce is bad. When they finally showed up with the food, they were very small portions and everything was cold. Seeing as food is to be held as 140 degrees our was about room temp. They offered to heat it up, but that wasn't the issue, it should never have been served that way. We where told that they were busy. When asked why there wasn't any gravy on the potatos, we were brought broth and told that the Chef has a different way of making things. Have you every used broth on mash potatos and advertised it as mashed potatos and gravy?? The dinner was $45 person plus drinks and 20% gratiuity. If the dinner had been as advertised, I would have been happy paying that price, but when the service was so bad that our meal took 2 hours to complete and the food was way below par, that is a different story. When the manager was told this, we were treated like we should be happy they offered to reheat our meal. The Meal we were served was not near the amount others were served and we received our roll refridgerator cold rolls without butter right before our dessert.

The food here is fantastic! We were staying at Devils Backbone Adventure Resort for 5 days, and we ate here for 5/5 days after our first night. The Waygu meatloaf is to die for, the wings are amazing, the steaks were great, and the signature cocktails helped wash it all down perfectly. If you're staying at DBAR, you have to check this place out. We can't wait to come back for our next trip!

Tried this place tonight, our second visit to this resort and it was absolutely delicious. The staff was so friendly and the service was great. I can’t say enough about their steak! If you haven’t tried it, you’re missing out. Unfortunately they are about to close for the season but we will make sure to come back. Might even try out breakfast in the morning. 10/10 recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our food was good, however, the service was TERRIBLE! Make sure you DON’T get seated in Katelyn’s section. We waited over 10 minutes for refills and when our food finally arrived the chicken tenders and fries were warm not hot which was very surprising since it wasn’t busy, (I’m assuming) b/c she was MIA for so long, we literally watched her chit-chatting at the bar and in the (I assume) kitchen area. When she finally brought our food she offered condiments and we said “yes please”…. we never got our condiments. We gave her tip to the hostess b/c she was non-stop the entire time we were there, whether seating patrons, folding napkins, wiping tables, etc! When we gave the hostess Katelyn’s tip and let her know it was b/c Katelyn sucked and we had observed her (the hostess) working, she stated that she had noticed as well; I didn’t get her name but Tipple Tavern, she was spot on the entire time we were there and we felt she deserved it more...

My husband and I went here for dinner, and sat at the bar for a few drinks, and shared a Ribeye. We had the mushroom risotto with it and it was delicious! The environment was lacking- the gentleman beside us was so drunk he was slapping the bar top. Then he began to make comments about us being from Alabama, and it went sideways quick. We left our drinks on the counter and went home. He chased off two other ladies as well due to his behavior. It was disappointing to see him being served shots as we were forced to leave due to his drunken behavior. This restaurant is expensive- I would ask that for the caliber of food/price/etc. - Don't over serve drunk customers who are chasing out nice customers who will also tip well. I was very disappointed he was not asked to leave, and was being served shots. He could barely see straight.

Due to this, we likely will stay somewhere else next time. This was not a positive experience for us. However, the...
