Eddie's Rise N' Dine — Restaurant in Williamsville

We went for the first time since the change over from Huddle House. Environment was the same minus the window shades had a new logo. Menu was alright, I had higher hopes, food came out and portions were definitely regulated. Forgot my daughters strawberries with her chicken and waffles. Over all food was fine, cooked well. They had a tent on the table that said free mini ice cream with every meal. I inquired and waitress said yes that’s for every meal, so we ordered 2. The waitress never came back. Upon paying I said we were going to pass on the ice cream and she said oh we are out, so we waited for some time for nothing. Bill was $53 before tip for breakfast for 3 people, probably should have been $30 to be more realistic. There was an older gentleman who came to bus the table and offered us refills. We came in and had no where to sit, as many tables were waiting to be cleaned. No biggie in a vacuum, but then it took 15min just to get menus, another 20 to get our order taken, and then we waiting 45min for two meals. Didn’t have silverware, never got any refills, and things weren’t even busy.

Our waitress was complaining loudly thru the diner how she had to work weekends this month which was a good warning of when not to come back. She also took it upon herself to round up our total from $29.06 to $30, which isn’t a big deal, it’s a dollar, but excuse me?

Will not be back as the level of unprofessionalism...

Great food , good cook and waitress. Only thing is I order a seniors breakfast which was $6.99 included a drink and he ordered a $10.99 meal not including drink. So mine even paying for drink was around $10.00 tax and all and his with price of drink would be around $15 tax and all would be about $25.00 and as ya can see in receipt that wasn't the case.. Even going up more to $30 it still don't figure right. Somethings off. Are they trying to be slick or what ?? Don't make sense !! Don't think we'll be back.. Just because of them...
