Dave's Cafe — Restaurant in Willow River

I am giving 3 stars because we love the food and prices however, one particular employee has been horrendous . We have been frequenting this restraunt for over 2 years.This employee has always been disrespectful and treats us horribly. We always tip well, even on to go orders.Today was the last straw. We had some family up to our house. We decided we wanted to buy breakfast. Instead of us all going in, we called in a to go order.The employee told us"you know when I have people over I plan ahead and go grocery shopping, and cook at home. " I was appalled! This is how this buisness makes money. By preparing and selling food! We even tried to make our order easy by getting all the same omlettes.We were told "well we are out of meat so your going to be waiting a while, very rudely.We said that's ok. We are willing to wait. Everytime we eat inside, she is yelling and complaining very loudly about customers and having to do her job. I feel uncomfortable going and seeing her everytime. She is even horrible and rude to other staff. If she hates her job so much she needs to find a new...

Good prices. Average diner. I asked for cheddar once and got American cheese. No big deal. Now I know they just don't have cheddar as an option. This might change some day. Doesn't matter. I don't really need to be adding cheese anyway. You probably don't either. Just enjoy your hash browns with some onion and green pepper. Myself and my dad have ate here for the last 5 years. The food is always yummy! Never had a bad experience. Wait staff is sometimes slow due to lack of workers wanting to work. The cook is cook to order. Everything is fresh and made the way you want. From Giant, plate sized pancakes, to the specials of the day to , one of my favorites, mushroom Swiss burger.
