The Pasta Place — Restaurant in Willow Springs

We were really excited to try The Pasta Place and even made the trip up from West Plains. Our server was friendly and professional, but unfortunately, the food was a major letdown.

Our fettuccine Alfredo contained three pieces of metal wire, likely from a grill brush—an alarming safety issue. On top of that, my chicken Parmesan was downright inedible. I’ll eat just about anything, but this tasted off, almost like alcohol, and looked more like a burger patty than chicken. The rest of our food was just okay, but nothing worth raving about.

This place is amazing. Carol, the owner/cook, is super friendly and personable. She and her staff make you feel like family. The real Italian food is the star of the show! Everything was absolutely excellent. In fact, it was so good we went two days in a row. And the prices are unbelievable. It’s plenty of food too. I had to get a “quitters” box as Carol called it, lol. We were in the area for the weekend and our hotel clerk recommended it. We are so glad she did. We have eaten there twice now! We will make this a regular on our list. First visit, we had the chicken parm and spaghetti&meatballs. Delicious! Second visit, we had the rigatoni and chicken Alfredo. Oh-my-word! The Alfredo sauce was to die for!!!! I wiped the sauce off my plate it was that good! Each meal comes with a big bowl of salad and some breadsticks. The owner/chef herself will bring your food out to your table after she has cooked it. She is wonderful, the food is superb for this small town with not many options!!!! And…. We tried the tiramisu today…. WOW!! Give this place a try, you’ll leave...
