Great little place. Great ice cream and they also sell food like burgers and hotdogs. They have breaded mushrooms that are decent. The ice cream portions can be huge. I got cone that was huge cause they made it a little big. Had to really work to get it all eaten before melting in the heat. 5/22/24. We took the kids over to celebrate everyone being done with school. We all got food. Two of us got double cheeseburgers. They are big patties and sandwiches. Patties might have been slightly overcooked but still very good. Also I got breaded mushrooms and this time they were very good. Cooked perfectly. My wife got grilled chicken sandwich with no bun, and she said it was good tasting. It was very busy when we went and I think they could use a couple more picnic tables for people to sit on would be helpful. Then we also got desert. My daughter, who is dr Pepper fanatic, got the dr pepper float Said just okay as the dr pepper did not taste full of flavor. I got twist with waffle cone and it was delicious. This place has been a great place to stop by for years. Everything from the food to ice-cream is always worth a try. The prices are also pretty good compared to some other place! The Willshire drive in is easily accessible for all kinds of transportation including semis. They have a drive thru and a few tables so you can enjoy your food either on the go or sit to relax and and enjoy the food. I highly recommend the pizza burger as that is incredible! It's a sausage patty with mozzarella in the center and a pepperoni on top with some marinara sauce to top it off. When fall comes around try their pumpkin pie flurries! My coworker told me about this place. Little bit of a drive but it was so worth it. The amount of food and ice cream for the price is unreal. My family now has a new favorite place and we will take the drive from now on. If you're just getting ice cream thou drive thru they will hand it to you right away. If you order any food. They will ask you to park. They are very busy. They sometimes give you a number or if less busy they will not but they will write your vehicle make and color so they know exactly who to find.
