North Star Pizza — Restaurant in Wilmington

Last night my husband ordered take out from North Star and I picked it up. Once there, I gave them my husband’s name and they brought me an order. I paid for it and left. When I returned home my husband said this isn't our order and called North Star. Whoever he spoke to asked we come back with the food and they would give us the proper order. I drove back to North Star. When I got to the restaurant, they handed me my correct order and proceeded to charge me for the food but said i could keep the order i left with and paid for. Ok, I said I didn't think it was fair that they charge me for my original order as i paid for the mistaken order. Also, I returned with the mistaken order. (They were just gonna trash it) The woman at the register returned with her manager who became belligerent with me right away. He said, I took the wrong order (he repeated that over and over again). I corrected him and said that that was the order given to me and I paid for it. He said he was not there and he did not know what happened. I said, that I was there and that is what happened. He demanded I pay for the correct order. I said that, under the circumstances, I thought it was crazy that they were blaming me and demanding payment. He replied, that if I left without paying he would consider it stealing and that I would be banned for life from the restaurant. (all while waging his finger in my face!) I paid again. But i will never be going back there and I will ensure no one I know goes back...

Wow. What a wonderful day we just had. As a child, I remember coming here for bowling with my classmates. Now, 20 odd years later, my family & I just finished up a wonderful day there. We started out bowling, and before we began, the owner came over to explain the differences & scoring mechanisims between "regular" bowling & this candlepin bowling. He was a really friendly fellow, and seemed be be really grateful to be able to reopen after the huge flood they had a year or so ago.

After a great game bowling, we tucked in for some lunch. The food was good, nothing to complain about. The selection was excellent, as were portions.

We then went & had a round on their still reconstructing mini-golf course, and had a blast.

We topped our day off with a quick round of pool between my father & I, while everyone else went nuts at the arcade.

What a great day. If you're in the area, I can't recommend it highly enough. It's far & away the most family friendly bowling alley I'm familiar with.

On vacation here from Cape Cod. We have had take out 3 times since we've been here. 2 of those delivered. Everything is delicious. Food is fantastic. Their garden salad is 10 different types of vegetables plus lettuce & tomatoes. Fantastic size for 2. Nobody puts radishes, celery, broccoli etc in salads anymore besides my mom😁 But North Star does! Their chicken nachos are OUT OF THIS WORLD! Make sure you get it with everything. We have ordered it 3 times and it feeds 2 if not 3. Above and beyond the food is the service! They talk to you like they've known you for years! Really! Can't say enough about this place and the People that work there. Would like to add that in the 3 weeks I've been here the people of Wilmington and West Dover, where we are staying, every person we have met have been so nice and...
