I ordered the Western Burger and really enjoyed it — the BBQ sauce was flavorful, and the onion ring and bacon added a great crunch. My friend got the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, which was excellent as well. It had that perfect balance of being crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
We also had an autistic child with us who has a very strong aversion to many foods. Normally, if nuggets aren’t homemade or McDonald’s, he won’t touch them. But here, he absolutely devoured the nuggets, and it meant a lot to us — we were so proud of him.
The food came out piping hot and clearly cooked fresh. Service was also a highlight: the gentleman who helped me get drinks ahead of time was very kind, and the lady who brought out our food was attentive and warm.
The restaurant itself looks a little dated, but that’s fine — nothing is dirty or falling apart, it just has an older look.
Altogether, the meal came to $36 for everything, which felt like a great value considering the quality. I also like that Cali Burger offers specialty options you don’t see at most fast food spots, like their Avocado Burger, Pastrami Burger, and loaded fries with protein and queso.
I do appreciate that the food is halal. While I’m not religious myself, I know it means the food is sourced humanely, prepared cleanly, and always fresh — and you just can’t get...
Read moreI just tried this place yesterday. I was born and raised in socal been in nc for a few years now. Let me say this is not a good representation of a Cali style burger! LA is known for two types of burgers 1 a pastrami burger and 2 an avocado burger. This place sells both I tried the pastrami burger. It was flavorless and they barely put any pastrami on it so you couldn’t taste it at all really just a waste of time. The flavor of the burger was coming from the veggies the patty is not patted out but premade and they don’t season it the entire burger itself is smaller than a whooper. I’d go to BK for a real burger. This place is decent if you’re hungry and looking for a bite to eat but it’s by no means Cali style the owners are from Bakersfield so they know they scamming yall our burgers are big like BK and loaded with pastrami and if you get an avocado burger they give you literally half an avocado and sometimes it may be the whole avocado. The closest thing to a Cali style burger that I’ve come across is...
Read moreIt was as expected from others pictures and reviews. The wait was a little long. The restaurant is a “workaraunt” meaning you go to the counter to order, you wait for your number to be called, you carry your food tray to your table and then clean up after yourself. I wish the tables and chairs were in better repair. We went during lunch hours and there were a lot of customers inside. This location also has a drive thru available. Parking is a private lot and ample. There are high chairs available for children. The food was okay. Nothing “wrong” with it if you are feeling like a burger. My combo made 1 meals for me (a...
