I really enjoyed this place. It was really cute and had a small playground for little kids. There was a tent up over quite a few picnic tables creating plenty of dining area in the shade. The prices were okay too. The wait for our food was completely reasonable, and we were able to wait at our table under the tent because they call your order number out over a loud speaker. All the food we ordered was fried (but that was what we wanted that day anyway), and it was really good. They accidentally sold us an item that they didn't have in stock, but it was super easy to switch to something else. The large milkshake I got was really good too!

Read moreOld time beside the highway eatery. Great food and drinks. Harkens back to an old time when places had character and did not have to be a cookie cutter shell of a restaurant offering food so consistent it tastes the same in every country you eat in.
The Dutch Treat offers charm with its two-window system of ordering. Orders written out on paper. With pen no less!
Is it perfect? No. The washroom could use some updating given the number of people that come to it.
Well worth the stop.

The food is good but the portions a bit small for the price. Especially when it comes to FF and fried greenbeans. These items are pretty cheap, especially when done in bulk.
