Marcus P’s Cafe — Restaurant in Wilton

A big, fat 0 for the big, rude lady.

I went in to dine in a few minutes ago. While I was waiting for the woman behind the counter to finish ringing out some customers, she asked what I wanted. I said I wanted to take a seat and eat something. She glibly told me to go sit down. Everything about this woman's mannerisms tell me she was not going to provide good service. Taking my cue, I grabbed a menu and sat down to look at it. When she came by to ask what I want, I asked if they serve breakfast all day or if I grabbed the menu (in a joking tone). I had never been here before, so I had no idea there were multiple menus for different times of the day. Well, she decides to give me the old eye-roll and say "Wrong menu. Because some people can't wait for me to give it to them", while snatching it from my hands. She went and got a new menu for me, but I was already done with her awful attitude so I left. I feel sorry for the people who have to work with her in there all day. ...

The food is grEAT! The service is spot on, friendly and efficient. Possibly a bit too efficient as Marc is just one man in a warm kitchen ☺️. The restaurant's atmosphere is comfy, decor is fun to peruse, tasteful and unique. (Don't get your hopes up for Moxie though, It hasn't arrived, yet! 😁) The food ...well the food .. serving size wise is big, ya don't feel cheated that is sure. The taste is YUMTASTIC! e We even ordered our bacon one soft and one crispy. Came out just perfect for both of us! The hours are a reflection of a new business working through some challenging hiccups, which is to be expected. The prices are correct, not to much not to little, just right! We didn't go at "peak hours" and only waited about the time it would take for proper meal prep. Only complaint is I can't get there enough. When I do again I'm getting...

Went there for lunch with my wife and 1 yr old. we ordered two sandwiches and a kids meal. The wait was reasonable and the food was just ok. But while we were eating the Owner came out of the kitchen and just started to complain incredibly loud to a customer at the bar. He started with complaining about how he's getting bad reviews for food wait times and that the people in this town suck and are impatient when it comes to their food. That he hates that people want to substitute items on his menu, and that doing that adds time to the order. It was just a completely unprofessional way to vent. Go to the back off the house or outside don't come into the sitting area and yell that you hate your customers and that your not making any money. We wont be going back since we have heard that this was usually a...
