My husband and I went here recently while vacationing and really enjoyed it. We enjoyed the ambience of it the most, and found sitting outside on that particular day was wonderful. We’re not sure what his dish was called, but it had chopped tenderloin, eggs, gravy, and hashbrowns. I ordered the steak and eggs with sourdough bread for my breakfast. He would give the atmosphere and the waiter, a five 5️⃣, however, he felt like his steak was very chewy, and we both felt the gravy had a greasy flavor. He did enjoy the coffee ☕️ and said his eggs 🍳 were cooked very well. He would give his breakfast a three 3️⃣. I had the steak and eggs and my favorite part of that meal was my hashbrowns and sourdough bread. I liked the eggs, but I left a good portion of the steak because it tasted chewy to me and not very good. They did have a triple berry jam that came with my sourdough bread, and I found it to be delicious! I so much liked it, that I bought a jar of it to bring home with me and I’ve already had it twice for breakfast since then. We are both glad we went and found it a very neat place to eat! It was just kind of nostalgic to us and we really enjoyed the ambience of it. Although our waiter was very busy, he tried hard to do a good job and was very pleasant in the process. His name was Logan.

While on vacation at Canyon Lake, we stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant—and let me tell you, it was the highlight of our trip (yes, even better than the lake views). The food was out-of-this-world delicious, the kind of meal that makes you question every other restaurant you’ve ever been to. We loved it so much that we went back the very next day, like moths to a flame—or foodies to perfection. The service? Unbelievable. Our server was like a hospitality ninja, appearing at just the right moments with a smile, helpful suggestions, and the kind of care that makes you feel like royalty. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, perfect for soaking in the post-lake glow. Whether you’re local or just passing through like us, this place is a must-visit. Honestly, it might even be worth planning another trip to Canyon Lake just to eat here again.

As someone who is very picky, I must say this was one of the BEST meals I have ever had while eating out. The staff was very kind, the chef was immaculate, you can just taste how much they actually care about serving good quality food, at a decent price as well. If you’re in town or even a local and haven’t eaten here yet I highly recommend. I will definitely be back. Ps, I ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich. Top notch 10/10!!!! Update: okay.. I had to come back a second time. It’s just as great as the first time! This time I showed up for dinner on a Friday night, ordered the rib eye, and it was PERFECT! Also, the live music was just the cherry on top. I freaking love this place!

My lovely wife and I were headed out to Canyon Lake to watch the moonrise. It was the pink moon, so we were intrigued. It was also a date night, we celebrate date nights, as they are an important part of a good marriage. Part of date night is always a meal, and we had decided that we would find a place near the lake to eat. As we were searching the local restaurants, we saw Wildflour, we knew the restaurant and had eaten there many time before, but we knew it at a different side of the lake. When we saw there were two locations we knew that was where we would eat.

The place wasn’t crowded, but had a fair number of customers when we arrived. We were greeted and led to a table, the server was right there asking what we wanted to drink. We had decided on our meals by the time she got back and she put the orders in.

I had the smoked salmon burger and my wife had a bison burger, both came with fries. The food arrived fast, and everything was delicious. We skipped dessert, but they always have amazing cakes, pies, and cookies.

I highly recommend the restaurant, either one, you will not be disappointed. Blessings and peace of...

I hate to say my third time here not the best at their new location. Today I got the meat and cheese omelet and it was so oily that my napkin couldn’t soak it up fast enough. So I did request another one which was great. I also ordered a cheese omelet to go. Well it was just as oily as mine and had been sitting for a little bit with all the moisture making the toast wet. So I asked for another one. Yikes I love butter but when it over takes the flavor of the food it is bad. I appreciate their nice response to fix it. Just hope the chef uses a lighter hand with the oil/ butter. Update: went back yesterday 9/6 and called in an order and told it would be 30 minutes but ended up to be 45. Half of the order shown to me 10-15 minutes before the other half. Omelets dry and over cooked, the steam created in the first half containers make the food inside wet. I don’t know what is going on at this location. The primary one has been always great. I hope this is just having just open. If not I will head to the original location which I love and...
