Little Anthony's Restaurant — Restaurant in Winchendon

We were excited that they reopened after renovating! While the interior looks really good the portion sizes have gone down while the prices remain the same. When ordering fish and chips you used to get a HUGE piece of fish, sometimes two, and the fries were almost like fair fries. Now you get half the fish and they changed their fries so they aren't as good. They also no longer have lemon wedges, just thin slices so forget about squeezing lemon on your fish. The fettuccine alfredo sauce is bland and needs more flavor or cheese. I ended up taking most of mine home and doctoring it up with seasonings we have. The chicken parmesan is good but they need to put about half the sauce on the pasta that they do mine had almost more sauce than pasta. They also changed their veggie stir fry. It was my moms favorite but they have taken out half the veggies and added in so much pepper that she was disappointed. She also was disappointed that they no longer have the option to get the steak tips over pasta. She still ordered them mothers day, medium, but they were overcooked and hard to chew. She knew they were busy though so she didn't send them back. The staff remain friendly as ever and as I said the renovations look nice. We are however very disappointed in the food changes and will not be coming back as often which is sad as it used to be our go to fish...

Told that they have some of the best icecream available so I am checking out the place. Found that I almost had to give up my first born to purchase a couple of quarts, they are a little pricey. Quality of the product is very good. The pieces of fruit and such needs to be made a little bigger so it gives it more flavor.

The Icecream shop is next to Little Anthony's and is called Little Lizzie's. Both are in the same building. Side by each.

I noticed a saying painted over the entrance doors of the outside pavilion that's used in the summertime was done in Gold paint as it should be, caught my attention for the better so I took a photo of the pavilion. We all need to remember that too many gave up there lives for our FLAG and so the innocent ones could stay at home and be safe without a worry.

On Saturday May 24th my wife and I stopped at Little Anthony's. After visiting the Very very Clean Restroom. We went out side to check out the screened in dining room. We asked the Server if the porch was fairly warm. He said please go inside and go to the back corner next to one of the 4 heater units. We did and it was Wonderful. We were greeted by the the same server his name is Zack. We were Very very impressed with his polite and very attentive deminer. After asking a few questions about some dinner selections.My wife ordered the Chicken Parmesan and I ordered the Turkey dinner. Both were served Hot and very appealing to look at. After a few bites Zack came over and asked if everything was Ok ? We both responded that everything was Delicious and we were Very happy to have gone in after his polite and caring greeting.
