Hubs & I previously enjoyed the No Meat Breakfast Burrito as pictured here, adding avocado and requesting Swiss cheese. However, it became too difficult to get what we wanted every time! The 1st time was perfect and delicious and I gave 5 stars. The 2nd time when we requested Swiss cheese, the cashier advised us this burrito comes with Swiss and we didn't need to request it. Just when we thought our takeout might be ready, we were told they were not made with Swiss cheese so they needed to be remade. The 3rd time, as we requested Swiss and Avo per our usual, the cashier said, "I remember you guys," which we thought was a plus. She proceeded to repeat our order back to us, noting the Swiss and Avo. As we started eating at the outdoor benches, we soon realized we did not have avocado on either of our burritos 😕 I had no receipt to check at the time since it's paperless and I view them later via email. When I went back in, I was advised that I was not charged for the Avo, and the solution was to charge me for 2 sides of Avo and they offered to take back the burritos to wrap up the avo...although I explained we had started eating the burritos and that is how we discovered the lack of avocado. This was too frustrating for us, always appearing to be the difficult customers with what are typically simple requests for a breakfast burrito. Then there's the matter of a nearby barn sporting a Trump2024 banner disrupting the mom & pop country kitchen vibe 👎

Came in to try for the first time. Waited 5 minutes for someone to seat us. Finally the only waitress came and gave us menus. Took another 5 minutes to bring water to the table. When we asked for lemons. The waitress said you will have to wait. I need to find time to cut the lemons. And when we asked after the food came. We asked for lemons again she's like I still need to find time to cut them. We're like just bring us a lemon we will cut it ourselves. She comes back less than a minute later with cut up lemon for us. It wasn't even busy. Only 4 tables has customer. Not once did she come back to get us more water. A while later. She finally came back and asked if we wanted boxes. We were like No. We just want water so we don't choke on out food. And she brings one and didn't offer anyone else at the table more water that all our cups were empty the entire time. Never will come back to this place. The food didn't even taste good. And HORRIBLE service.

We decided to try this place. You can't tell there's a restaurant inside towards the back of Winchester Farms. We came here for lunch and we were all satisfied with their dishes. I personally liked their pastrami sandwich and their mushroom burger. Our son liked the BLT. Customer service was good. The atmosphere was nice-- country setting. There weren't that many people. There are seats outside the restaurant and outdoors. It almost felt like we were at Knotts Berry Farm. Definitely coming back. I just wished they were open until 5pm at least. Their hours are 7am-3pm. After we were done eating, we got ice cream from their grocery store. Their McConnell cream was a little pricey, but it tasted really good. Worth trying at least.

Sorry Jolene's I really wish I could give you a better rating but unfortunately your waitress did a horrible job at the end. At first she was great she was the one that told us there was about a 30 min wait and told us we can wait outside or at the connected market. So we went to the market and bought some items and waited outside. I definitely had my doubts that she would remember to come get us since she didn't write out names down or anything but in about 2o mins she cane and got us. That definitely really impressed me since there were a few people waiting and they were pretty busy. After being seated she was pretty good with taking our order and getting us refills on our coffees and adding items to our order. The food was pretty good. It tasted pretty good and the portion size was ok. That is why I'm giving the 3 stars. The reason why i had to takeaway from the 5 stars is because what our waitress did towards the end of our breakfast. My daughter accidently spilled her cup of water and it went pretty much all over the table and got my son wet and the seat wet. I totally understand that is a frustrating aspect of the restaurant business because you will have to clean it up but any person on the right mind let alone a waitress would grab a towel or napkins to give to us so we can clean up the mess. Our waitress did the total opposite...she saw what happened and said "I'll give you your check and you can pay up front." I couldn't even say anything because i was in shock of what she said. So we just cleaned my son up, paid the bill and left. I was planning on going back there the next morning for breakfast but that definitely did not happen. I definitely felt bad for the mess but that was just rediculous. Oh and by that time the restaurant wasn't even busy anymore. Sorry Jolene's I really wish I can give you a better rating but your waitress really screwed...

The service was wonderful. As a server though I don't think I would have served the home fries to us as they were burnt. Deep frying home fries with onions and green Peppers defeats the purpose of putting the onions and green peppers in it. The purpose of adding those things is to add flavor to the potatoes but when you deep fry it the flavor does not incorporate into the potatoes. I do not know why anybody would deep fry home fries. The rest of the food was okay. Nothing to write home about but it was edible. They did exchange our home fries for regular hash browns which were appropriately cooked. The waitress was prompt and attentive. There was only three tables occupied by the time we left and we were the only ones there when we got there. You can tell that someone tried to make the place homey however they used very dark colors. With no relief of Darkness you feel kind of like you're in a box that's been decorated. Not exactly my idea of a comfortable atmosphere to dine in. We had two breakfasts a side of biscuits and gravy and two coffees came to just a little under $50 with a tip. The only price I had a problem with was the coffee. It was extremely thin and it cost over $7 for two cups. The place has potential but it is not a place that I would go on a frequent basis. I would definitely try it again if they changed it up a bit just to compare my experiences and maybe it would...
