The Rustic Table — Restaurant in Winchester

Awesome meal . Salad and main dish, more than I can eat at a time. Should have requested the smaller amount with the salad. The Raspberry Vinergeret is the best I ever had, nice and creamy. Alfredo sauce was extremely good and hot.

Specials for certain days are extreamly good. Considering amount served on a plate. The plates are deep dish and they hold a large amount of flavorful food. I needed to add Shrimp for the protein.

The waitress was nice when I swapped salad dressing on the ceasars salad. She was also quite attentive and very pleasant for a server.

Plenty of room for parking. Place is not very large but plenty of room inside. Enough vehicles were parked for me to check it out, glad I did. Clean inside considering the outside looked a little weathered.

Only issue was a noisy crowd at the bar. Must be the Saturday night early regulars. They were easy to toon out though.

I suggest that you try it, you just might like it. Hard telling if you don't.

You can take your pick of a booth or a table when either of them are available.

I had the beef braised short ribs with mushroom raviolis. My husband had the New York strip with french fries and carrots and peas. The beef bread short ribs were delicious. No knife needed, tear apart tender and deliciously seasoned and flavored. However, my husband did not enjoy his steak, the flavor was off. I tasted it and it came out medium instead of medium rare. The peas and carrots were also undercooked. Our waitress was very friendly and nice and I appreciate it, her service and the way she dealt with my grumpy husband lol. If you're a mushroom lover you have got to try this dish that I had, I also tried the clam chowder which was good and fresh. You can taste the butter in it too which I liked. Rustic Table in Winchester NH is great place for a casual meal. Service that we had (around 3pm on a Thursday) was cheerful & competent. Nice cozy atmosphere with tables & comfy booth setup. My Ruben sandwich was the best I've had in New England! Good amount of meat, kraut & cheese; rye bread was perfectly toasted & crunchy, not drenched in butter & soggy, as is so often the case. My husband ordered the vege burger which was huge! He was tempted to order another, he liked it so much! Had I not been driving I would have enjoyed a 2nd glass of white Moscato, served cold, crisp & delicious. We both have certain expections for food service & this place didnt disappoint.
