I’m actually very sorry to give this review, because my fiancé and I ordered takeout here and he picked up the food and the first thing he said upon reentering the car was that the staff were very nice and grateful for our order. I see the stellar reviews though and I’m just very confused because it is not an accurate representation of our experience with our meal. We ordered quite a large order. Salmon hibachi, filet mignon hibachi, four sushi rolls, salads, miso soups, spring rolls, fried dumplings, so I do feel like I’m qualified to give a review based on a good portion of the menu. The steak was very poor quality. I ordered it medium rare and it was brown all the way through, no pink. There was no flavor to the sauce at all, it was very bland and the veggies were overcooked with no crispness. The fried rice was not properly fried and lacked flavor. The salmon was overcooked and flavorless. The sushi fish did not taste fresh, it was so rough we couldn’t even eat it. The texture was not good either. Spring rolls were okay. Fried dumpling subpar, again, flavorless. The miso soup tasted like stale salt water. Nothing tasted very fresh and the actual ingredients were not good quality. The white sauce tasted off. The sauce for the dumplings tasted watered down. Were actually very dismayed to have spent more than $70 for food we wound up not wanting to eat. There are better options in Kokomo and Noblesville, we will travel the extra distance for better...
Read moreMy first visit was an absolute winner.
First, I'm excited to have not just a sushi place nearby but a quality one at that. Based on my first experience, I expect to visit often.
The atmosphere was quiet and cozy. I immediately noticed that the restaurant was very clean.
The service was excellent and quick. It was quiet when I arrived, so everything was very prompt. The waitress brought my miso soup and let me know the sushi wouldn't be long. I had barely finished the soup when she brought my order.
The soup was great, I love miso. My only qualm is that the portion was smaller than I wanted. I considered getting a second bowl, but decided against it this time.
For sushi, I tried their rainbow roll as it had a variety of fish. I ordered eel sashimi on the side, as well.
The roll was excellent. Large pieces and great taste. The sashimi was also excellent and very flavorful.
My bill was just over $20 before tip, which I feel is a good price for the food. The menu has a variety of options from sushi, to hibachi. I may try the filet next time which will be pretty soon.
Overall, a great addition to the lunch and dinner options in the area and one that fits very much into my most favorite of guilty...
Read moreLiterally treated a waitress like absolute crap calling her stupid in front of customers and smacking her hand for touching flowers! I have never in my life saw a restaurant mistreat an employee this way. Accusing her of stealing food when the customers were flat out telling the manager that she was not stealing food she was just bringing them their food. Even so, if you have an issue with your employee, you deal with it AWAY from the customers and you deal with it in a respectful manner!!! The way you treat people comes back and bites you in the butt. We will no longer be coming here which is a shame because me and my husband really enjoy the food but I refuse to give money to a place who could ever treat people the way I know you guys have treated this waitress. Have...
