Wow! I'm impressed with this place. Coming from Southern California with some of the best Mexican food I thought we were destined to never have good Mexican food again. We decided to stop in here during our road trip as we move across the country.

My daughter got the mini carne asada and the seasoning and cooking was perfect. I got the molcajete and it was so creamy and flavorful. My other kids split a burrito and both asked for more. My hubby is especially picky and got the New Mexican plate and was very happy.

Being honest it’s ok being told that there’s no more drinks because we ran out of orange juice??? I mean need more organization food was ok but not as I expected definitely needs improvement I may be wrong but that’s my opinion and obviously people may have different opinions which I respect Waiting time also terrible I mean 30 minutes or more to get your food ?? Very Clean. Updated inside. Friendly staff. Chips & Salsa with meals. Chip salsa very tasty upper Midwest (bit sweet pickled). Also they have hotter sauce upon request. Big ceramic white plates. Large portions. 2 fat enchiladas, 1 over-sized tamale, rice, and beans very fresh plus most filling all for abiut $9.
