This place isn't safe for women. A man physically put his hands on my fiancee, and someone associated with the establishment seems to think they get to decide what is and isn't appropriate.

The answer is that it's never appropriate to put your hands on someone you don't know in an extremely personal manner. Your intent is not relevant, and only the person who was assaulted (because in Missouri what happened is legally assault) gets to make that determination.

They blocked me after I posted a negative FB review, and tried claiming my story was fictional. We have multiple witnesses, and the individual who did it openly admitted fault at the time of the incident, only arguing that he didn't have any malicious intent.

The fact that their staff did nothing in the moment (literally didn't even speak to the man after it had been reported to them multiple times) and then brazenly called me a liar is ridiculous, and frankly libelous.

Avoid this place...

If you drink beer you are fine because it's cheap, however, if you drink anything that contains liquor you are in trouble, because the only thing you are getting is a weak pour. I am not talking 1 ounce, I am talking .5 to .75 ounce even though you are paying full price. Most of the bartenders are great, but avoid The Rock on Fridays and Saturdays because the bartenders are pretentious and bitchy, I would avoid them at all cost. I've been coming here for over a year now, for Open Mic Tuesdays. The owners are very involved, and not afraid to work. I can't even begin to describe the gem they have in their bartender Angie, she is hands down THE BEST!! Im also impressed with the other bartender Chrisine, or it may be Kristine (sorry girl), she is also VERY good at her job, and they are a big reason why I keep coming...
