Hangar 18 — Restaurant in Windsor

I went to see my favorite band, Van Waylon Band perform. When I heard they were going to be here I made sure to go see them. They have a new bass player and he also sings. So now this band has 5 singers. Wow, most other bands have one or maybe two. They also had a guest singer, Josie Dial. Now this gal has a set of pipes. Do yourself a favor and check out the video I took of her performance. As always the band was fantastic and put on an awesome show. I sure hope they can play here again sometime, and bring that young gal too. This was my first visit to Hager 18 and this place is so cool. The stage is huge and there was plenty of places to sit. While watching the band the wait staff made sure everyone had cold drinks available. I need to tell you about this...There were 2 options for restrooms here. One inside and one on the outside. We wanted to like this place so much, We enjoy windsor pub and Mcquarters and were so excited to check out The Wurst Place ( our 9 year old was especially excited to see the robot) Well, after telling our waitress how excited our son was about the robot another waitress brought out his pizza, no big deal. Then, 15 minutes later, our food comes out, not by the robot, but by the waitress again. We ordered a brat and a polish sausage. The bratwurst was inedible (tasted like old pork) and not once were we asked how the food was. So we wound up paying for a brat that only had a bite taken out of it. After waiting forever to pay we had to place cash on the table so we could pay and leave. It was not busy either. Very upset to be going home with a disappointed child who was looking forward to enjoying a night out with his parents and checking out the robot. What a fantastic experience! We had a reservation for 12 to watch the Packers game, just in case it was busy. When we arrived, it wasn't busy and 6 of our party had canceled, lol. We felt badly because the table for 12 they had prepared looked great. The staff was amazing. Because we had a child in a wheelchair, they switched a high top for a low so we could still see the game. The wings were delicious and Heath gave us great service. The Darkness stout was g ood.
