The best Stromboli I’ve ever had comes from a small town of Windsor, NC, an unassuming place that you might easily overlook if you were driving through, but once you stop and sample the culinary delights, you’ll find a treasure worth returning for.
Nestled in this quaint town is a local pizzeria run by a family that has been perfecting their recipes for generations, and their Stromboli has become something of a local legend. What sets it apart from any other I’ve tried is not just the generous fillings or the perfectly baked crust, but the passion and dedication that goes into every bite. The dough is made fresh daily, with a light, airy texture that envelopes a mouthwatering medley of ingredients — pepperoni, Italian sausage, bell peppers, and a blend of cheeses that ooze deliciously when you take your first bite.
Each Stromboli is lovingly hand-rolled, ensuring that every roll is packed to the brim with flavor. What truly elevates this dish is their signature marinara sauce, which has just the right balance of acidity and sweetness, making it the perfect dip for the warm,...
Read moreSo disappointed with the customer service. I used to eat a this establishment weekly as a kid, but the experience that I had today has forever put a bad taste in my mouth. I went in the restaurant and I decided to use the restroom before ordering, when I came out of the restroom, I decided that I wanted to use cash instead of using my debit card, so I went to the car to get my wallet and before I could get back into the restaurant, the owner comes out and tells my friend and I that we shouldn't come back. When trying to explain to him that I was coming in to order and I was just getting my wallet, he then says that he didn't need anymore business.. I couldn't believe how upset he was.. I guess he thought I was I had just come to use the restroom, but that wasn't the case.. aHe doesn't ever have to worry about getting my coins ever again.. This hasn't been the first time that I've seen his hot temper, but it's never been directed towards me, I...
Read moreThe prices are great. Smaller amount of food (dish) offered but for what you pay compared to other Italian restaurants it's all good. I wish they served the meals on hot plates, my lasagna was warm not hot at all, still great food just with hot plates the meal would be kept hot longer. I usually have more layers in the lasagna, and there was no ricotta cheese, maybe im just used to it in the ones ive had before and when I make it. Good sausage the sauce was just a bit salty and im a salt lover. My husband loved his "the works stromboli", he enjoyed it very much has great flavor and he liked how the dough came out crisp. We're definitely going to go back and try more from the menu. It was sooooo busy and the employees were so kind and patient when I couldn't decide because they offer alot of good food. Don't get me wrong with the tings I mentioned negatively because it's just my opinion. We...
