From the moment I stepped into the Tavern at Keney Park golf course, I knew I was in for a treat. The aroma of perfectly cooked corned beef filled the air, setting the stage for what was to be an unforgettable dining experience. The star of the meal was undoubtedly the corned beef and cabbage. The meat was exquisitely tender, practically melting in my mouth with each savory bite. Complementing it were the sides – the potatoes, cabbage, and carrots – each cooked to perfection, enhancing the dish's overall flavor and texture.

The service at Keney Park golf course was equally impressive. Friendly and attentive, the staff made sure my dining experience was nothing short of excellent. I spent a lot of time researching and visiting venues for my rehearsal dinner. After visiting about 10 different locations in the Manchester vicinity I chose The Tavern at Keney Park. Amanda, the GM, was wonderful and met with me to go over all their different options. I loved the variety of food they offered, how reasonable the prices were, and how accommodating Amanda was to our event. I felt very comfortable that Amanda and the staff had everything under control.

The outdoor/indoor room was so perfect! I love that there are removable windows so that it can be open during warm weather yet closed when it’s cold. Our rehearsal dinner was in June and it was a chilly night so they turned the gas fireplace on; it added such a pretty atmosphere. Okay, New Years Brunch - I went not really having an expectation of any sort. The grounds are pretty and my level of expectation rose. We were sat pretty quickly but then it went downhill from there. The food items were warmish at best. The first cup of coffee I received from the bartender/waitress was quite possibly the most unpleasant coffee I have ever had. It definitely was not fresh. We left feeling uncomfortable, definitely not happy. I felt as if I had been watching a really bad movie about restaurants. I hope that this, as one other reviewer stated, was just a bad and "off" day. If not, then please remove my one star because even that would be too much for this establishment. Side note - I did tip the bartender/waitress as I remember thinking it's not her fault - she doesn't make the food or control the temperature...
