I just stumbled across Zeke's BBQ while traveling south out of Wichita Falls. The young owners were very friendly and gave me samples to see if I liked the different items. I bought a take-out of chopped beef, potato salad, beans, and coleslaw. The chopped beef was very good. It was fairly lean and had a deep smokey taste. The beans were seasoned pintos and were also very good. I really like the coleslaw. It was lightly seasoned and did not have much mayonnaise (if any) in it. The potato salad was my least favorite. I've eaten BBQ all over the State of Texas this place tops many high profile BBQ joints I've eaten at, always perfectly cooked and has all the right seasoning that brings out the big taste... the beef brisket is top notch, the smoke sausage is unlike the average smoked sausage... they also have great seasoned fries, I'm not tator guy but these are addictive. Read morePassing through to Frisco for the NDsu Bison game on Saturday and stopped for lunch. The choices were slim due to it being right after a holiday so their meat delivery was late. But he had the smoker going out back with Brisket and ribs. I had a chopped beef sandwich which was quite good, and a side of slaw... Fresh and very good. Sweetie had brisket and ribs... Says the brisket was a bit dry and lacked a bit of flavor but dipped in their sauce hit the spot. Top prize goes to the ribs, flavorful, tender and spot on! Will definitely stop...
