Seasons Lakehouse — Restaurant in Winfield Township

I was there for a wedding, the venue is beautiful, staff was friendly. Here is what I think needs improving: we were told we could get into the clubhouse at 10 am to decorate, we had to call the front office after 10 and we were let in by security, we decorated til about 1 pm and still no one showed up to check on us, or to start meal prep. (Wedding was at 4) When the meal was served, the beef was cold, no not just not hot, it was literally cold, like it had been sitting in the fridge and they did not heat it up long enough, the chicken was still pink inside and the potatoes were not cooked. I am writing this review in hopes that they will work on the food part of the venue - because like I said the venue it self is beautiful, but if people complain about the food, then the venue will...

The service was good. The brunch was horrible. The blueberry muffin tasted like it just came out of the freezer after 5 years. The fruit was good, but not cut correctly. My sister didn't like that the skins were still on the kiwi, and the core was left on for the pineapple. The eggs were hard and grainy doughy balls. Delish! At first i thought is was going to be a long wait hostess had said they only had two cooks for the evening. The cooks knocked it out of the park. We got our appetizer in 10 min. My husband and I shared an appetizer beef Cajun tenderloin kabobs that was mouth watering. I ordered the Roasted Salmon topped with Lemon Pepper Dill sauce and asparagus delicious so worth the wait.
