Casey's — Restaurant in Winfield

Every weekday I have been stopping by for their biscuits and gravy breakfast and every few days purchase gasoline. the assistant manager knows me everyday however lately when I show up at the same time as I always do they don't have any in the food warmer you would think after a month or so they would make sure they had some for a regular customer. This week twice they had none prepared, and I let the assistant manager talk me into waiting for them to be prepared which is about 7-8 minutes. This defeats the purpose of a "quick stop shop", those 2 times, the food was warm in 1/2 the container and room temp or colder on the other side as if they only put it in the oven after I inquired, and pulled it out before it was ready.

Today, they finally had some prepared when I arrived, I explained to the assistant manager that the last 2 days I was served food that wasn't cooked thoroughly, and that I'm lucky I didn't get sick.

I asked if today's serving could be offered gratis due to me being held up waiting for cold food. He checked with the store manager, who said he could not comp the food but offered a free fountain drink or coffee (approx 10-20 cents cost to him) .. I don't go there for soda or coffee, I go specifically for the biscuits and gravy and/or gasoline.

I simply put the biscuits and gravy back down on the counter and told the assistant manager to let his boss know he has lost a customer. Other than breakfast, I often pick up pizzas for my workers (I own a business) or family, and my truck holds over 40 gallons of fuel. This location will no longer get any of my business, regardless of how convenient their location is.

I understand Casey's is not a restaurant. I appreciate the fact that a "Gas Station" has such a wide variety of food and products to offer with quality food to boot! Thier pizzas are the best!

This new Casey's has been awesome! Fresh sandwiches, hot pizza and great service! I have tried other gas stations in the area only to find stale candy bars and expired sandwiches. Casey's cheezy bread is amazing!
