I grew up in California and I can count on one finger the number of Mexican restaurants I've been to that were as good as this one. The service was kind, warm, and attentive. The food was outstandingly delicious with lavish portions and didn't rely on spicy heat to mask poor flavor combinations (though they do have hot sauce if you desire it). Their "small" margaritas were a huge bargain and probably the best margaritas I've ever had. I'm truly blown away by how amazing the food was. Even our 21 month old son loved everything he tried right down to the complimentary chips and salsa. We hadn't even gotten water, chips, or even a word said to us. When they started taking orders for the large party that had just walked in, over a half hour after we'd been sitting there, we walked out as it was pointless to wait for the 2 of us to get food that would now be made after the big parties order.
