Tammy’s Country Kitchen is exactly the kind of small-town spot you hope to stumble upon while traveling!! The atmosphere was welcoming from the moment we walked in. Our waitress was so friendly and personable—she went out of her way to share extra suggestions, even bringing out her favorite sauce for us to try. You can tell she truly enjoys connecting with people.
What stood out most was the sense of community here. A few gentlemen who were clearly regulars were chatting with her about their holiday weekends, and before long, they were including us in the conversation too. They even offered their own food recommendations and wished us safe travels when they heard we were just passing through.
It felt less like a quick meal stop and more like being welcomed into someone’s kitchen. Great food, wonderful people, and the kind of experience that makes you want to come back. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re...
Read moreWe just left Tammy's and I will NEVER go back . I have brought several co-workers and friends to the restaurant to eat and have always had a pleasant experience . Usually, I ask for no more than medium well, but these were tender and juicy, so it was not an issue. I also had the pinto beans as a side serving. These are not the same as the dinner and are not loaded with ham and so forth. Good, but they could use a little more seasoning. Of course, Tammy is friendly and helpful with the service. Overall, highly recommended...
