McDonald's — Restaurant in Winnfield

Service was very slow. The Manager was not friendly. I ordered through the new system, but chose to pay at the counter didn't know I had to pay before my order would be processed. I sat for about 5 minutes no one acknowledge me. After awhile I approached the manager and asked about the order she said oh you have to pay. I said ok. That was ok. As I waited for my order I watched and observe them. A lady and seem to be her granddaughter came up to the counter stood there for about. 5 minutes the manager and her crew never acknowledge them, all of them was looking at the order screen. I thought the lady and granddaughter was leaving. They went over to the new system and placed an order then preceded back to the counter and still received POOR customer service. It took an additional 10min before I received my food. A man had ordered he sat in the lobby I don't know how and when he placed his order. Just before my order came up, I watched to see how he was going to be treated. The MANAGER didn't say Sir your order is ready so he could say thank you. She said here and left and was thinking how RUDE! The man got up and went to the counter I said oh boy she is going to get it now! But to my surprise he placed another order. This place is unbelievably slow. Like the drive thru line was backed up to the highway. And for no other reason than the employees have no hussle. I went in because the drive thru line was so long and the cooks had all the orders ready to be bagged but the counter staff were walking around like on a Sunday stroll and talking to their cousins and laughing like there isn't 40 cars in the drive thru and 10 customers in line. And the worst part?? The manager was just as slow if not worse. I don't understand why they are not fired and replaced. I can't be the only person who notices this. And it was not just the one time its everytime and any time of day. I only continue to patronize because there are not many options in a small town but every time I leave there I am in such a bad mood from the experience. Ugh. Do something...

This is the only McDonald's I like to go to. They have the computers to do your order inside and they have ice cream! They have shakes the machine isn't "down" at least not the times I've been there. I wish they would make all McDonald's like this. I hate for people to lose jobs but from my experience most of the people who work at most McDonald's are rude and seem like they don't even want to be there. So yeah I'd rather give my order to a machine and pick how I want my fries salted and how our burgers are done and it actually comes that way! Hopefully Natchitoches will follow winnfield on this because the natchitoches one is one of the absolute worst as far as bad food, rude employees, and always saying the ice cream machine is down.
