There weren't too many dishes on the buffet so everything was fresh. Perennial favorites like General Tso's chicken, beef and broccoli, and stir fried green beans were good. The sushi is garden variety for a Chinese buffet but was not bad. Our waitress was prompt and polite. My two minor complaints are the lack of curry in the Singapore mei fun and the total absence of freshly steamed rice. They aren't afraid to put a little heat in dishes that should be spicy. There is a charge for food waste which is an excellent policy that I believe should be adopted by all buffets to promote portion control and address the problem of food waste. Our waitress did not clear plates or refill drinks for myself and my other colleague and the only assumption that can be made is that we are black. She cleared 4 out of 6 plates at our table and proceeded to clear the tables around us while my colleague and I sat with finished plates in front of us for over 10 minutes. We were sitting on the side closest to the walkway and she reached around us to clear those 4 plates. she even asked one white colleague next to me if she was done, but never asked me and my black colleague.
