China Taste — Restaurant in Winnsboro

I do enjoy their food but will not be returning because of their lack of customer service. I placed an order for chicken and steak hibachi, but received chicken and shrimp. I’m allergic to shrimp and couldn’t eat it. So, I called back being extremely polite because I was willing to go back and get the correct dish. However, the person on the phone was not. She had a nasty tone from the start, asking me for the number on the receipt, when I gave it, she says she didn’t see that transaction. Then I gave my phone #, and she claimed to not see it in the call log. But, my debit card had been credited. So, I politely asked for my money back and this person told me without a transaction #, she couldn’t give me back my $13. That’s when I finally lost it on her. You have to understand, my sister had died unexpectedly a few days before and we were burying her the next day. So her attitude was the catalyst to the anger I had yet to release about my sister. So, I hope the people who likes this restaurant never get the wrong order, because I use to think the staff was nice too until she showed me...

The food was delicious! I love their rice and honey wings! They've blocked off the lobby area and I get it, we're in the midst of pandemic but as closed as they have it, it's causing customers to stand close to each other while waiting to pay for their order, when we really should be remaining at least 6 ft apart from each other. Another issue I had was the fact there wasn't any hand sanitizer available to use after using the pen to sign my receipt. Foods very tasty tho, keep up...

Prepares food in a timely manner, food is delicious and hot. Server attendant is very good and I love the fact that the cashier knows her customers and as you walk in she knows what you're looking for that's old school. Makes a customer keep coming back when you have good service. Would highly recommend the best in Winnsboro South Carolina if you like...
