I am very dissatisfied with the customer service received from the Manager of all people this morning! As a business owner of 3 businesses, I understand the importance of customer service. I frequent the old salisbury road location pretty much weekly and I love the staff. I also have a food services business and I will go to Cagney when I desire cake and I don’t feel like cooking one. I rarely eat there bc I always cook but I have ordered food from there twice. My first time was for pizza and they left olives and peppers off my pizza. I scratched it bc it was late and I’m sure my order was probably the last of the night so the staff was tired...no problem. Today, I believed that my eggs were left off my plate because I didn’t see them. I called the restaurant and asked to speak to a manager. He appeared slightly testy and said well next time you come I will fix you some eggs. I’m not sure how you eat corned beef hash and eggs with out eggs so I said I would drive back. He said well, I guess I will fix you a fresh one! 👀. I let that comment slide. I go back, pick up the order and he shares that the eggs are located Under the corned beef hash and potatoes and UNDER the aluminum foil. I wish I knew to look under the foil with hot food on top bc I wouldn’t have wasted the gas. If you put eggs over medium UNDER hot food and under foil it will continue to cook the eggs. I get home to find my eggs the consistency of a boiled egg with no running yolk at all. My corned beef hash was slightly charred and over cooked in places with specs of burnt beef from being left on the flat top too long. The manager tells me I caused him to waste food and I replied I wasted gas. I would have loved to know I didn’t have to take a 10 min drive for eggs. It was an honest mistake that he could have shared more information. But a meal that cost him $2.00 to make is not a loss to a restaurant. I’m sure quite a bit of food is wasted there. I was totally disgusted by his tone and sarcastic attitude. I will no longer be visiting the restaurant and will recant any recommendation. I’m sorry! Your customers are your money and you don’t disrespect them or have a nasty attitude towards them for any reason. It was an oversight on both parts and I still received food that wasn’t satisfactory. I’m very disappointed in the quality of service I received and the poor customer service even overshadowed the food that I didn’t enjoy eating that ended up in the trash! This was not a great start to my morning. How...
Read moreI come in here to pick up UberEats orders often and it’s usually a weird vibe. The workers act like they don’t want to acknowledge you even if the order is sitting in front of your face. A couple of times before I let it go and was patient about it. Tonight I pulled up, about 4-6 workers were standing there talking however when I walked in they made eye contact with me but no one acknowledged me or asked me what I was there for. After waiting and realizing that the order is sitting in front of me I decide to grab it because once again no once is acknowledging me. I watched a lady worker walk right pass me and go to a tablet to press something when she could’ve just asked me what I needed, but not only her everyone that was there and made eye contact with me could’ve asked me what I needed and I would’ve been in and out. After I grab the order and as I’m walking out of the door I am stopped by what I assume to be a manager white tall male and he ask me to make sure I have the right order . In other words he’s making sure I’m not stealing the order I just think it’s funny how he acknowledges me once I grab the order when he seen me waiting to begin with. He snatched the receipt when I showed him the name so I snatched the bag back out his hand. He took the food as if he just KNEW I WAS STEALING and it wasn’t my order! I hope he felt as stupid as he looked when I confirmed it was for me. Do better and acknowledge customers when they walk in whether it’s through a third party service or not. You never know who people are or what people do. Treat everyone equally. Will make sure I never accept another order at this restaurant! Or spend a dime in here and I really...
Read moreMy family visited this location on yesterday to order dinner to go. My sister and her husband frequent here so they were familiar with the food and service. Well, once my mother got into eating her salad, she found 2 pieces of hair in her salad. So she drove it back up there and explained to the cashier that she found hair in her salad. The cashier called the manager up front and stated, "this is the second one today". The manager appeared to be understanding and asked my mom if she wanted another salad, she said no but would take a sandwich of the same value. She decided on a rueben. After making the sandwich the manager bought the bag to my mom and walked her to the door. At that point he said, "between me and you, I know you put the hair in the salad". Of course my mom was shocked so she said, excuse me? He repeated his comment. He told my mother that she just wanted a sandwich and she got it, to have a nice day. My mother in return told him to keep the sandwich and left. My brother in-law went back to the restaurant to see the manager, him and my sister eat here at least twice a week. The manager again said he felt that my mom placed the hair in the salad because it was black hair-my mother is 70 with a head full of gray hair. He did not acknowledge it could be one of his workers who DO NOT wear hair nets or gloves. He told my brother in law to tell my mom he was sorry. No refund, no can I call to apologize. Not the type of service that I would...
