Taqueria San Jose definitely fits the description of an off the beaten path stop, but it is worth the detour in my opinion. The food here is authentic mexican street food, simple but delicious! The tacos are small but cheap, the meat is well seasoned and tender, the ingredients are fresh, and the salsa is loaded with flavor. The Agua drinks are a good size, very tasty, and come in a variety of flavors. Tonight my crew tried the chicken, pork, and asada tacos, as well as the chicken and beef quesadillas. We also ordered two different aguas and both were fantastic.
