This place is a hidden gem! I visit Poteau every 3 months every year to see my family. Though there are 3 Mexican restaurants in Poteau, I prefer this one because of the freshness of the meat and the taste of their dishes. I'm addicted to their steak dishes- get this: THE STEAK IS ALWAYS TENDER & JUICY AND MELTS IN BETWEEN MY TEETH. Plus I'm a chip fanatic and this place brings you the chips freshly fried and steaming hot, fresh and crunchy and the salsa is the icing on my cake! Oh and their fried ice cream is absolutely delicious. I rate this place 5 stars because the food is top notch like anything I've had around the area plus the restaurant looks very clean.

We were camping at Lake Wister State Park and we asked a local resident for recommendations on Mexican restaurants in the surrounding areas. He highly recommended Si Senor. We will certainly pass on this recommendation to anyone in the future. The food was excellent and the service was great! I got the chimichanga and my husband got a rice dish with meat, peppers, onions and tomatoes. Our food was hot and very good. If we are ever in this area again, we will definitely stop by and eat here again! Thanks Jerald for your recommendation!

High quality and very flavorful. They truly care about what they're making. We had been around Bentonville, Arkansas all week. This was better than anything we had in that area. The prices are cheaper than fast food. We will definitely come back.

We visit Poteau often to see my in-laws. This place is my favorite restaurant in town. We often come here after Sunday church and they always fit us in. Their staff is kind and knowledgeable. My husband gets their pork street tacos and loves them. I usually get their chicken enchiladas. We enjoy their chips and queso before hand. Very yummy. We like the time to catch up and enjoy their good food. We enjoy supporting their business. I do not recommend their sopapillas, however. The last one I had was merely fried dough & butter & honey. Missing the sugar & cinnamon. I didn't finish it. However we will...

We just had the best Mexican meal since well… when we were in Mexico. My husband got the big boy and I got Pollo Puebla. From the beginning, the chips were great. The salsa was perfect. The food was amazing. Hot and fresh. Big plates of sizzling wonderful food. The staff was very nice. What made it extra special was hearing the kitchen staff all back there laughing and singing together. What a great work atmosphere! Don’t miss this if you are within 20 or 30 minutes of driving by!
