Went here are lunch. when I first walked in, there is nothing/nobody telling you to wait to be seated or to sit yourself. The workers nearby that saw me walk in never said a thing to me as I stood waiting. Eventually I asked someone walking by what to do and found out we are suppose to sit ourselves. I walked around the restaurant looking for a place to sit and most of the tables still had someone elses dishes still on them. when I did find a table, the seat and table werent very clean. The decor was pretty bland and not at all looking like a mexican Restaurant as it says they are. It just reminded me of an old style ma and pa place from back in the day. After looking over the menu I still hadnt seen anyone come over to take my order. Theres a phone that at the table with a sign that says to use the phone to place your order, the phone however didnt work. I asked the waitress nearby as she passed if the phones were working and she told me the waiter nearby will take our order. He clearly hadnt even noticed me as he finished with another customer, he walked over to start clearing another table of dishes. He looked up and it dawned on him that I was waiting on him to take my order. when placing the order, I asked what came on burger I asked for and he just told me 3 things that came on it and not the other things. Come to find out, those 3 things come on it, and you add the rest yourself. The burger was pretty small and didnt have much flavor. I tasted more the other stuff on the burger than anything. The fries were ok but nothing special. I had asked for a cherry pepsi for a drink as their menu says they have it, the waiter told me they have cherry 7 up and not pepsi. Nobody came to check on me during the whole meal other than to take the order and to bring the food and drink. When finished, I walked up to the couter to pay for my meal because nobody brought me a check. The girl asks me what table I was at like Im suppose to know what the table number is. Overall, Im not impressed and will most likely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI grew up eating at Old Town Grill and it was always good. Three of us ate and my husband and granddaughter are fine. I on the other hand had a mushroom Swiss burger and gems. I ate half of the sandwich. 10 min later my stomach started to cramp and Iāve been throwing up all night with severe cramping and in the bathroom all night long. I called just now to make them aware not to ask for a credit or anything. I talked to a girl named Ashley (managers daughter) and she said go to the ER because COVID and West Nile is going around and told me that sandwich is a favorite and they never had a call on that burger. Totally disregarded everything I said to her. I calmly told her Iāve had food poisoning before and no itās not stomach flu. I was only calling to make them aware so no one else gets sick. Ashley said ok Iāll let them know. Thank you OTG āAshleyā for trying to convince me that I was sick from something else.. I in fact am sick from your food because thatās all I threw up etc⦠The waitress was very nice and the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTraveling through to ND, and I wasnāt hungry, but it was dinner time, so we stopped in. Diner feel with phones on the wall which maybe used to be for ordering but are no longer in use. I had the club and fries, and enjoyed it. Everything was fresh and tasted good. Their ranch is pretty mayo heavy. Fries were battered style and delicious and crispy and hot. Kids had chicken strip basket, which tasted like chicken. Wife had a mushroom burger which isnāt my thing, but she liked it. Kids got a soft serve cone and I had the homemade mint chip in a waffle cone. Iād do it again. Our waitress was the daughter of maybe one of the owners it sounded like, and she seemed to care about her job. She was the only server and seemed to handle the dinner crowd just fine. All in all, Iāll rarely come through, but seems worth it. Whole 2/3 of the menu was unexplored by me between breakfast stuff and...
