Worst Thai food I've ever had. First let me say that I love Thai food. I was so happy to see a new restaurant in this small town. I was disappointed to find nothing remotely resembling Thai. Where was the basil, the lemongrass, the coconut milk? The fragrant delicacy that is Thai was missing and in it's place... Hoisen sauce. Everything tasted like sweet bbq. Worst $60 splurge we ever spent. We ordered Drunken basil vegetable with chicken. Not a basil leaf or flavor in it. Perhaps it was in the dish made in mistake they wanted to get us to accept instead of what we had ordered. Customer should not be pressured to eat cooks mix up! We ordered the Pad Thai. --Disgusting sweet bbq noodle is what the dish should be called. No scallion, no bean sprout, no spice, no good. Spring rolls were lacking the mint, bean sprout, cilantro and all the fragrant deliciousness that a Thai spring roll is and instead were rice skin wrapped shredded iceberg lettuce. A joke. Absolutely not recommend if you want to experience Thai food. If you want some americanized asian stirfry it passes....

I went with my family (husband and two kids), and all four of us enjoyed our meals (chicken salad, teriyaki chicken, beef with wide noodles, and a sweet-hot curry) and the appetizers (chicken satay skewers and crab wontons). The fried banana dessert was delicious and just the right size—not immense and overly sweet like desserts often are. We will...
Read moreWhen my wife genuinely expressed her concerns about the food, not wanting to bother the staff by returning it even though it wasn’t up to standard, the staff’s response was completely unacceptable. I truly believe that if they’re not open to feedback, they can’t run a business in a healthy manner. Blaming the customers only makes things worse and doesn’t help at all.
I’ve been saying this after reading the replies the “Kountry Thai Restaurant” team gave to the lowest star reviews and comments. Honestly, after reading those replies, I felt like—was it really necessary to respond like that? It seems like they’re trying to judge the personalities and personal lives of customers, especially couples, which doesn’t feel...
