Joy canceled on me with less than a month until my wedding because she was too stressed”

While I appreciate her communicating that she was at capacity; I did not appreciate that she was more or less blaming me and brides in general for “being more difficult”

I bought 24 cupcakes for $75 for taste testing : red velvet (used artificial dyes); vanilla + chocolate (incredibly dry); carrot cake — what we went with. By far the best flavor.

I gave 3 of my neighbors, 2 friends and myself one of each to try. This all group feedback — my neighbor even went as far to say as “the chocolate was the worst it could’ve been”

Despite my desire to have a more clean dessert, my mother requested a more conventional cake. Ultimately I am happy to not be going with Joy and finding another option that is a better match for our farm to table dinner.

While Joy is clearly an artist and skilled at making her food look good, the taste was too sweet and equal parts frosting / cupcake.

Seems like her client base is more suited to 4 year old birthday parties than weddings.

I needed a last-minute birthday cake and when I mean last minute, I needed it within four days. Moments of joy was able to create that for me and did exactly what I asked. I sent a picture of what I would like and she made it look just like the picture. double layer round cake covered in green frosting with daisies around the sides. This is not your typical store-bought or box cake. Everything is made from scratch so the cake is much more dense. Is it just like a real cake should be. The frosting is perfect. It’s not too sweet just the right amount of sweetness. I asked for a vanilla cake with a raspberry layer in the middle. My preference would be to have more raspberry filling than such a thin layer, but other than that, everyone...

I was so happy i found this bakery, I asked for a customed cake less than 2 weeks notice (for preparation) she was the only one who was willing to make it, with a short notice and even had it ready 1 day before, I asked for a race car cake and I was amazed at the work and the details she made! Also she suggested ideas with diferent prices, so i could choose what i liked more and what was in my budget!
