Ok this is why you need to try random places! We were traveling from VT to FL and my daughter picked this place out for breakfast. OMG best steak and eggs i have had in a LONGGGGG time! Real thick steak cooked perfectly seasoned potatoes, eggs runny, biscuits fluffy. Everything just went so well together. Really just a snap back in time when diner food was REAL! My daughter had a blueberry pancake the size of her body and it was fresh light and delicious cause i stole half! The sad part was the lunch and dinner menu looked even better than breakfast....oh well we will be back! A++ p.s. prices were great!

Fairly unremarkable from the outside, situated in front of an old style motor inn. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Classic offerings like hot open sandwiches, liver & onions, country fried steak. The French fries smelled so good that I had to order them. They did not disappoint. We ordered ham & turkey club and Reuben. Both were full of thick slices of meat. The Reuben was made with beautiful rye bread. No dessert for us but the cakes and pies in the case looked great. Prices were extremely reasonable.

Nice dinner, easy access off rt 11. Small campers and trailers could park here. Seat yourself, clean and prompt service. Food came out hot. Portion size was a bit on the smaller size but good was good and filling. If you are in the area and want something different with friendly service, stop in for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Absolutely Wonderful!! Ok if you know me than you know I don’t eat Fast food!! I have always said if a place would cook and serve more homemade food it could make a killing around here. I have found the placešŸ˜Šā¤ļø This dinner makes some really great food. Congratulations to Robbin and her daughter sorry I don’t remember her name. They have created a great country dinner. Mrs Shanon has been our waitress many times and she is great wonderful personality very attentive always checks on our table. The food is wonderful and our family has tried almost the whole menu lol😊 oh just a few things like their chicken strips WOW REAL chicken that they cut fry in special seasoning to just the right tenderness not real crispy just perfect! And the cheese burgers are great size and out of this world. Their breakfast foods are amazing, steak and eggs is great nice steak for the size and price tender. The sausage and cop beef gravy is just like grandma homemade.😊 and for heavens sake don’t miss out on their bake Mac and cheese or twice bake potato casserole (WOW) amazing! And I have not gotten to the deserts yet so many and so good. I will say it’s all together a great meal for the price. Our family is four people and we can get a good home cooked meal with drinks and tip for around $50 and our hard earned money is well spent here. We appreciate you all and wish only the best for your business. I know times have been hard so let’s all try and help out this young new business lady and support and prayers for a prosperous growing business for many years to...

We stopped in after work. We put off coming here far too long. Now we are upset we hadn't stopped in sooner! For the most part, it's what you would expect to be in the menu of a small town mom-n-pop diner. What sets them apart though is how much of their offerings are actually made right there in house. The homemade soups and desserts caught my attention immediately. The desserts can even be seen in the cold case for everyone's viewing pleasure. My fiance ordered the bowl of chili and cornbread to start, and the steak and cheese sub for his meal. The chili was very meaty and hardy! Full of flavor and a very mild spice everyone can enjoy. He enjoyed his steak and cheese with everything on it. I ordered a cup of tomato basil soup, and honestly that was the best darn tomato soup I have ever had! I also ordered the open faced hot roast beef,hand-cut French fries and mashed potatoes and gravy....I know, I know...That's alot of starchy sides...But so worth it! The hand-cut fries were absolutely delicious!! My only take on the roast beef was it was sliced with the grain of the meat and not against it...Slicing against the grain would have made the roast beef a little more tender on the chew. But otherwise it was great! Then we moved on to our desserts....I saw the pineapple upside down cake, and I wasn't walking away without a piece. He got himself a slice of the chocolate pie. We were so stuffed, but dagnabit we found the room for the goods!!! Overall, the Route 11 diner is definitely worth a visit!! We will most certainly...

Nice home-cooking diner in the Shenandoah valley. Seems to be popular -- 3/4 full at Saturday lunchtime. Pros: friendly service, food mostly at the upper end the scale for this kind of country "home cooking," including chicken salad sand, open-faced hot turkey sand (hand carved turkey, though gravy likely came from a jar), and onion rings. Cons: hand-cut fries looked beautifully home-made and brown, but fell flat in the texture category not fully cooked through yet oddly limp. Clearly not double-fried. Also, prices were higher than I would have expected given the rural small town location. $10 for a chicken salad sandwich and $15 for open-faced turkey sand. Desserts were more reasonable, with a large slice of chocolate cake, big enough to share, for $4. With tip, our lunch for 2 was a...
