I met the owner and artisanal baker of Sweet Detente. Scrolling through the website, I spotted a pastry that I just had to try. Robin makes a pastry called Mamoul filled with tantalizing combinations of fruit, spices, and nuts. I selected the pistachio/rose Mamouls, but also got to try the sour cherry/almond one. These desserts are amazing! As an Australian I have had many Lamingtons and I can tell you that these Lamingtons are perfect!
