I visited here for lunch a few weeks ago after a day at Cathedral Caverns. I had a nice time overall! This is very much a small town diner. It's nondescript and almost looks like a house. There's a few designated parking spots out front and a gravel lot with more space to the side, but it's a little bumpy so drive cautiously! There's also a window where you can walk up and order carryout from outside. Inside felt homey and clean if a little on the aged (think like grandma's house) side. You pay at the counter but a waitress comes out to take your order. They have plate lunches and American classics like hamburgers, hot dogs, and chicken tenders. It also seems like they do a big breakfast business. It was a touch too warm inside for my preference but YMMV. I ordered a chicken tender plate lunch with French fries and fried okra. It also came with a small, soft roll. It took a while for my food to come out but they were fairly busy and it was clear my food was made fresh! The tenders were giant and juicy, and the okra still had a nice crispy exterior. The tenders almost had a lemony flavor; I wonder if they were brined or marinated or something. The fries were standard and nothing special, but perfectly fine. I got a cup of ranch for dipping and it was also solid ranch. I don't remember my exact total but it was certainly reasonable for lunch. I'd be happy to come back again sometime, and would love to try breakfast.

All food seemed homemade and the fried food was fresh. Onion rings were the best! So crunchy! And no slimy onion slips. The greens were so good too. Employees were friendly. The place gives off hanging out at home vibes. Will be back.

A small town diner with diner like food. Great prices, 4 lunches with dessert was $31.00. Can't beat that. The staff was personable. Nothing overly special but a great place to eat. Simply good.

Great place for a burger or daily specials on plates. Have not tried the breakfast yet but it looks good. Lunch and dinner are great though. (Updated- lately there's never any of the bread with the plates that is supposed to come with it and half the time no gravy on the potatoes when asked for, not sure if they just get into a rush or what. Also smaller portions than before which may be because of increases in prices of food but that part is...

I stopped in today to have lunch here and the food was great. Just an old country dinner with good food . If you ever have the chance to stop in you should try their country fried steak. I paid $9.38 for my dinner which had a big crispy piece of country fried steak smothered in brown gravy with two sides. I chose fried squash and mashed potatoes that was smothered in brown gravy as well. A hot bread roll with a sweet tea. Soooo good. Gotta...
