Starbucks — Restaurant in Woodville

It’s great to have a Starbucks option at the service plaza, but the quality really needs improvement. Stopped by the Starbucks at this Service Plaza during my recent trip, expecting a decent pick-me-up. Ordered a small mocha, and to my surprise, I was charged over $7. Now, I wouldn’t have minded the price if the quality had matched the cost, but this was hands down the worst mocha I’ve ever had.

The drink lacked the rich, smooth texture I associate with a good mocha. It was overly watery, barely had any chocolate flavor, and the espresso tasted burnt. It honestly felt like they had diluted one mocha to make two, completely ruining the taste.

A well-made drink could have justified the steep pricing, but unfortunately, this one left me disappointed. We stopped here mainly because of the Starbucks, and what a letdown it was. I think any traveler would agree, if you’re charging premium prices, at least serve a good drink.

I’m writing this review so others don’t get fooled as I did. The quality really needs improvement. I wouldn’t recommend stopping here for coffee unless they step up their game.. Beware and stay away...

Does this location even have managers??? Always just a bunch of kids with no one directing them, especially in the evening, on what to do or how to service properly, what a poor excuse for a Starbucks! Always out of product and short staffed, no wonder the kids have bad attitudes. Even heard a “manager” telling two girls today they cannot accept tips, if a guest leaves a tip it must go in the register. Or they will be accused of stealing! Seriously Starbucks, you can do better...

A Starbucks with employees so disgruntled it was unbearable. They had the gall to be annoyed at me for ordering a sandwich on the app they were out of. After 10 minutes someone finally told me that they were out of that one. They offered me a replacement but then acted annoyed with me again when I asked if the difference in price would automatically be adjusted. I expected the answer to be a simple yes. It was only a couple of bucks difference but I spent about 15 minutes...
