Don’t be fooled by the modest exterior — New Dynasty Chinese Restaurant is a true hidden gem. We discovered this spot by chance during our road trip from Los Angeles to Yellowstone, and it turned out to be the most satisfying meal of the entire journey.
The food is incredibly authentic and delicious. My grandfather, who lived in China for 80 years and is very particular about Chinese cuisine, couldn’t stop praising the flavors. Every dish tasted fresh and well-prepared, especially the vegetables — crisp, vibrant, and full of flavor.
The service was just as impressive. A lovely and attentive waitress took care of us the entire time. She made sure our water was filled and checked if we were enjoying our meal. To our surprise, she even gave my brother and me each a small treat — a pack of spicy Chinese snacks (latiao)! It was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture, especially during a long road trip.
We arrived in the middle of a hot summer day, and stepping into the cool, clean, and tidy restaurant was instantly refreshing. The relaxing environment and warm service made it feel like a little oasis in the middle of Wyoming.
If you’re heading to Yellowstone and passing through Worland, don’t miss this spot. New Dynasty Chinese Restaurant offers not just great food, but also genuine hospitality that stays with you long...
Read moreI worked in San Francisco in the little China district for 28 years. I hope I know my Chinese food. This place is a little pricey for the food portions. But everything is going up. I'm not sure if they use MSG. but it taste like it. I normally ask for No MSG. And I can eat Chinese food all day. But I only eat a little bit here. I'm not sure if it's MSG or what. But even though I like the flavor of the food. I get stomach acid. Really fast here. My wife, son and grandson don't have a problem eating all they want. So it's just me. I got spoiled on fresh SF Chinese food. The lady that always brings our food is the sweetest young lady. Very polite and always smiles. The place is clean but like most restaurants. They have cut down on table supplies. We eat here at least twice a month. But the next time. I'm going to ask. No MSG. Other than that. I...
Read moreLOVE the food here! We visited 3 months ago for a sudden Medical appt for a fractured finger. Frustrated by inadequate and misleading directions to the clinic (I mean, how hard is it to say we're near the bowling alley!?). The decision was made to stop and have dinner afterwards. We were so glad we did! Two of us shared a dish with shrimp and veggies. It was delicious. Our driver had the Crispy Chicken (it has a lot of Black Pepper). He enjoyed this spicy dish. Service was fabulous! It normally is here, but we were so pleased to discover that our waiter was Allan, previously of a Chinese restaurant in Thermopolis that has since closed. This guy is a wonderful, attentive waiter who saw to all of our needs with a cheerful, friendly attitude. We look forward...
