My boyfriend and I were in town visiting his family from Athens last night. There was nothing else open, so we just decide to come eat here. As soon as we pull up, his cousin's baby has to have a diaper change, so my boyfriend and I go inside to find a table. As soon as we get inside, it takes a few minutes for our server to ask for our drink order. We tell her, then we mention that we're waiting on two more people. She pops and attitude and goes "yeah that's cool" and walks away. Then when our party comes inside, they want to sit at another table. So when we get up to move, I notice our server is rolling her eyes and is looking annoyed with us. Then she comes over and asks for their drinks. As soon as she gives them their drinks, she asks what we want to eat. By this point, my drink and my boyfriend's coffee are already needing to be refilled. She doesn't even acknowledge us and ignores our empty cups. A few minutes later, a pot of coffee falls to the floor and apparently got her in the leg. So she runs and takes her shoe and sock off and mentions how its burning. Then she hops into the back office. We assume the other server who is there is going to come help our table now. Nope, wrong!! The other server COMPLETELY ignores us all together. We're sitting there for 15 minutes needing refills, and our food STILL hasn't come out. Then the girl with the burn comes back out, and starts working in the kitchen without a shoe on!! The coffee spill is still sitting there, without a wet floor sign, because nobody cleaned it up. And after all this, still no drinks or food. Then our food FINALLY is being held by her, while she's hopping around with one foot, and gives it to us. Our order is wrong. She then calls the cook over and we explain what was wrong. So he looks at us and tells us that he is sorry but "it's hard to make an order if I was never given a ticket for it. She just said make them all plain". So our server comes back with our check, and still ignores the fact that we need refills. My boyfriend has to go up to the counter with the cups to tell them to refill it. The food was good, but the service was so absurd that we refuse to go back. No hand washing, germx, gloves, etc. The service was quick however, my eggs where cold. My server (MONICA) had disappeared in the back, so I wasn't able to ask for more until she returned. Once she returned I immediately told her that my eggs where cold when she brought them out. She quickly told me they were "fresh" off the grill. If been sitting by the grill and saw them as they sat on the side. She also told me the only reason they were cold was because I let them sit on the table. I politely asked for more and again told her that they came out cold. She rudely grab the plate and walked off. She came back 1 minute later stating she'd warmed them up. She'd placed them in the microwave. It was then that I asked for a manager. She went in back, as to get a manager, then came back instructing the cook to fix "fresh" eggs. I never saw the manager I'd asked to speak with. Moments later after Moncia took the microwaved eggs and my other plate, another server came offered warm my coffee and brought fresh eggs that I no longer desired because of the lack of professionalism and proper customer service. Lexy our replacement server (we didn't ask for a replacement) was very nice and corrected the ticket. Monica however, oblivious to her lack of adequate service and compassion should never be in customer service. She not the managet ever returned to the table. Read moreI have to say that I’m highly disappointed with my last few orders from here. I recently got DoorDash for me and my little brother from Huddle House and they had COMPLETELY messed up my order. I had ordered a chicken tender kids meal for my little brother alongside a chicken tenders meal and a strawberry lemonade for myself. When I finally purchased my order, the total was around $25-30. When the order arrived, my food was soggy and cold, there was NO seasoning on my fries, only 5 chicken tenders in total and the strawberry lemonade was watered down and not even sweet. I then called up there and explained to the women that my order was completely wrong and she told me that my order was completed properly and ignored how I confronted there was no seasoning on my fries and my order was completely messed up. This isn’t even the first time I received the wrong order and terrible customer service. Don’t get me wrong, some of the workers are amazing and I make sure to tip. But there has been several different times I’ve had lunch/breakfast with family and the workers are being loud and having inappropriate conversations. There had been this one time me and my mother had went and had breakfast inside and one of the ladies was talking about someone’s abusing ex husband and how he was constantly under the influence of heavy drugs.
