Malacari’s Ice Cream — Restaurant in Wright Township

Usually love this place but.... was there on 9-14 and there wasn't many people golfing which is fine. It was around 6-6:30ish. Paid for 2 to golf. As we are on the greens minding our own business, children from another party ahead of us decided to run amok of the place. They ran through where we were putting, continuously ran around the golf course and then decided to walk on the rocks where the water flows to the bottom of the course. Nothing was said to this party but I whole heartily blame the parents, who looked at me and said "oh I'm sorry" that was it. Very breezy about it. I'm not sure why the golf attendant didn't say anything to them or have them escorted off the course. I shouldn't have to pay to go somewhere on my time and deal with nonsense like that. Ice cream was good though. Just a shame that stuff like that has to ruin...

It's a very price friendly place with good portions! Staff is very friendly and patient! It's also a nice touch with the new picnic tables they have unlike the old ones Mountain Freeze had. Even though they are still next to 309 it's a perfect spot because there's been a few times I've had a bad day at work(now I only drive a car not trucks. I work right down the road) and on my way home as I pass kids are doing the arm pump and even though my day at work was awful the kids doing that brightens my day because I get to blow the horn. It's always nice to give the kids a shave and haircut horn salute and they yell back. Very good place for...

If I could give them 10 stars I wouldn't, I'd give them nine. Only because every time we go there and my fiancee wants the blue icee they're all out. This past time she ended up not even ordering anything because of how disappointed she was and the kids and I, actually just me, felt terrible eating ours without her enjoying one too. She's usually not that picky and gets something else but she was pretty avid this past time.

Kudos to the girl at the register that was ducking and dodging the pesky bee while ringing up our order. And to the girl with the deadly shoe who took it out of this world...
