If the 4.7 rating is strictly for the food, I get it, the food was actually good. But everything else looked like a health inspector’s fever dream. The tables were dirty, and under ours was a random fork that looked like it had been waiting years for someone to notice it. The bathroom was so filthy I half expected a raccoon to crawl out and hand me toilet paper. With nobody else in the place, you would think cleaning would be a priority, but apparently cleanliness is optional.

The food arrived quickly, which was nice, but then I had to ask for a fork just to eat it. Nothing elevates a dining experience like playing “utensil scavenger hunt.” The outdoor seating area was a special treat too. Three mismatched tables, all equally uncomfortable, surrounded by garbage and spiderwebs. It felt less like a restaurant and more like I had stumbled onto the set of a low-budget horror film.

And then the bill showed up. Over $65 for two people in the middle of nowhere Yacolt, Washington. For that price I expected at least a clean table, a bathroom that didn’t double as a science experiment, and maybe a chair that didn’t feel like punishment.

So yes, the food was good. But unless you enjoy overpriced tacos with a side of tetanus, this place is...

I'd heard some buzz about the new restaurant in town Taco Sensacion. Everyone said I had to go try it! My favorite part of the experience was the owner and chef came to sit with me at my table, asked how my food was, and genuinely wanted to get to know the customers and what they like to eat. He is new to town and was so happy to meet me, born and raised in Yacolt. His whole family had come in to eat together at the table next to ours, It made the atmosphere feel welcoming, like it was Sunday afternoon lunch with family and friends. My table guests shared a plate of nachos and had carnita tacos, food was really good. I would have stayed to visit longer if I had time. Yacolt needed a great family dining...

I have eaten at this location every time it opens up under new ownership! Taco Sensacion is by far the best restaurant that has come to the small town of Yacolt. Other restaurants in the passed were inconsistent and weren’t very good food and they closed all the time randomly (even when they should be open hours)… Now my family and I have eaten Taco Sensacion 4 separate times and each time consistent high quality tacos and burritos have been hitting the spot! SO GOOD! I’m so glad I don’t have to travel to Vancouver or Portland to get good tacos anymore! I definitely recommend this place for people who know and love good food but maybe tonight your just too tired to make your own tacos! You won’t be disappointed...
