Next Evolution Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Yerington

On the long drive from Las Vegas to Sacramento, I passed by this shop in August. I didn't stop but really wished I had. So now, I'm on my way back and I passed by. And this time, I stopped. I am so glad I did. It was just an ideal coffee shop. I wish I had time and a book and I could have spent a day there. The ambiance is just wonderful. Andrea, the barista, was a joy. So nice. All that aside...I ordered a chai latte, and it was amazing. Actually the best one I've ever had. I feel like a paid spokesman, but I'm not - it was just that good. Such a great stop....

What a surprise to find a local coffee shop in the middle of the desert! They have a variety of coffees, teas, and juices, as well as food options. My own options were limited due to dietary restrictions--a wider range of allergen-free non-dairy milks would have been nice so I could at least get a coffee, but the demand is likely not there, given their location. Wonderful place run by two lovely (inside and out) Paiute ladies, sisters. Amazing selection of fresh HEALTHY foods that are absolutely delicious! I had a veggie sandwich with hummus and a fruit smoothie that were great. I even took 4 more sandwiches for the road! Started with a search for a coffee shop on Google. Had a great 12oz "Shot in the Dark" coffee. Stayed and chatted with the owners there. Very nice people with good honest intentions. GO THERE! You...
