ORIGINAL REVIEW (for 2003&2004): This "townie bar"... is a go-to place for my Dad & I. The whole crew are awesome. Karaoke. Live Music (hmu for playing a show, Dave). Some of the bands & acts are good. I like the place for Dallastown's little "townie bar"...

UPDATE (2014): I used to like the place. The atmosphere has drastically changed. I was a regular patron and used to go to their functions...even perform music frequently. After returning to the area from a decade-long hiatus, I'm treated like I'm a stranger & I have to "re-audition" with the "acceptance & approval of the other local bar bands" in order to play there again. ABSURD.

UPDATE: Sept5th2022 (under new mgmt) Decided to return because I'm hanging with my good friend Chris Chase & we used to be regulars in the "2003/2004 era". Lisa is still here (good thing) & it's back to being a decent "townie bar" again.

I don't see the unnecessary drama that existed back in 2014...& it has potential to be what it was in my younger days (maybe it's only because I was "younger" then🤔).

Locals bar with good crab cakes and sandwiches. Friendly staff, steamed big crabs to go. Smoking allowed in bar. Pool tables, dining tables,, karaoke. Only caveat, bathrooms in basement, down a steep staircase. Go for the crabs!

I have to update! My buddy and I stopped here on the way back from York a few weeks ago (50 miles out of the way) . I had told him about the awesome crab cakes! To my dismay the barmaid informed me they had no crab cakes left. So much to my surprise The cook came out of the kitchen and said Don't worry we can accommodate you, well it seems as though he actually went back into the kitchen and picked some fresh crab meat for us, it was worth the wait! Where else could you possibly get a fresh picked crab cake? Incredible, absolutely delicious probably one of the best crab cakes I've ever eaten, just the right amount of spice and no filler. And oh, by the way, it must have been 8 to 10 oz. Nothing better than an awesome crab cake sandwich washed down with a cold blue moon. Thanks to all for the great service,...

This place had the slowest food service I ave encountered in a long time. We went there on a Sunday about mid afternoon. There were 12 of us in the group. The bartender took forever to get our drinks order (Mostly beers) The food service had to be the slowest I have ever experienced. We ordered what would be considered typical bar food. It took more than an hour to get many orders. We had people in our group that were finished eating and ready to leave while others had not even received any portion of their order. It kind of seemed they hoped to trap us in the bar so that we would drink more beer while we waited for our food to come. Certainly not a good place to go if you are looking to grab a quick bite and a beer. This is a place that Bar Rescue needs to visit.
