If you are traveling please RUN! We received food in a to go plate after we stated we would be eating here. The front desk clerk was a young girl with an Afro and a stiff welcoming spirit. She didnât want to answer questions when we order and didnât tell the cooks that we didnât want pork on our food until my daughter and I decided to walk back to the kitchen area. I ate here with my daughter on yesterday. The food tasted decent while we were there, I had an hamburger with fries. The food is exactly what youâd expect from a classic Southern kitchen, flavorful, hearty, and prepared with care.
The fried chicken is perfectly seasoned with a crispy golden crust, while the vegetables taste fresh and home-cooked, reminding you of Sunday dinners at grandmaâs table. Their cornbread is soft yet slightly crisp on the edges, just the way it should be, and the desserts carry that comforting sweetness that rounds out the meal beautifully.

Portions are generous, prices are fair, and every plate feels like it was made to satisfy both your appetite and your soul.

Read moreEverything and mostly everyone was wonderful. The only thing, or person, that kept me from giving them 5 stars if the little girl fixing plates. She has the ugliest attitude I've ever seen in food service and she does NOT need to interact with customers. Other than that, EVERYONE ELSE is completely polite and helpful, especially the young man at the register. The food is excellent!!! And the price is very reasonable. Go there and just ignore the girls bad attitude. If the owner reads this, PLEASE move her to the back...
