I know this bar is in a ghetto hooded area but their wings are so good and they’re discounted every Monday and Thursday so I come to get their wings. This is my second review!!! I put my order through over the phone for 4:30 so I don’t have to wait an hour after placing it. Walked in to get my food at approximately 5:25 and the lady who took my order did not ring it up right so the old black lady (bartender) popped an attitude with me because she was mad at her coworker for not ringing it up and started getting loud saying “she did not ring it up” it’s not my fault, it’s your coworkers fault so get mad at her. I just wanted my food after 10 hours of working no one wants to go back and forth with someone’s grandma who clearly is miserable and about to retire soon. This is probably my 50th time going there for their wings and my last. The discount was nice and their food is good but no one wants to argue with old bartenders who should be in a retirement home. The same lady who rung me up over the phone twice before and cooked my food also shortened me two wings that I had to tell her about beforehand. I know it’s a shady area and they all work there because they all have attitudes and it’s a bar, they want free alcohol and no one else will hire them because of their behavior but it’s ridiculous to get mad at me because I placed my order for 4:30 and the lady over the phone didn’t ring it up right after I repeated myself 6 times over the phone. When I called earlier she hung up 3 times and acted like the phone died when in reality she clearly was hanging up on me. This other bartender lady then took her miserable old self in the back and started talking all loud and complaining about me like lady I don’t care about your attitude I placed my order around 1:00 pm it should’ve been correct and ready. I like the young pretty bartender who’s always positive and sweet. These old people are miserable and ready for retirement. Don’t worry your wings are good and discounted but I won’t be back. This is the type of customer service you get at a bar in...
Read moreWe were looking for a place, where we felt welcome. We got some suspicious looks at first but after talking to the staff and owners, we knew we were where we needed to be. We are planning a trip to Youngstown just to show our appreciation! Ms. Dot got me putting ranch seasoning on my fries! Mickie! Them peppers Auntie!! Pickles were being delivered but I had to take a jar with me! Thank you so much for making us feel at home! We even had a great time with the patrons! We were advised to go to Frieda’s night club later that evening, based on the atmosphere we were looking for. We are definitely planning a trip just to visit again! And yes, my Wanda B’s peppers and my aunties pickles made it all the way back to TN! Paid extra for luggage but it...
Read moreWhen I’m in new areas I like to find and support local not chain restaurants/ businesses and I’m glad I stopped here! The food came out hot and had good flavor. My partner and I enjoyed the music while we waited for our food. Everyone that walked through the door was welcomed, and everyone seemed to know everyone. With leaving this review I have this place marked to visit again in the future and I look...
