El Trompo Mexican Grill Michigan — Restaurant in Ypsilanti Charter Township

December 1, 2017 Amazing authentic mexican dishes and came out in less than 5 minutes. The place is well cleand and organizes, they seated us as soon as we walked through the door. This is my 3rd time here and i can say without a doubt service and food is consistent every time. The portion of food you get is so much you'llalways need a to go box because you just leav feeling full and had more food for later. I highly recommend this restaurant to anybody looking for authentic Mexican food. Also you will not find a website for them, if you're looking for the menu i have uploaded pictures of them attached to this review along with a video of the food that i got.

February 26, 2018 The food here is amazing, authentic, and well portioned. When you walk in you’re seated right away with menus placed on the table. Are Waiter Jenna is helpful and got are drinks and orderes in fast. I asked herif there were any booths available she got right to work and cleaned out a table just for us before the buser could clean it himself. This is my third time comming to this restaurant and everything has been consistan every time. Food is piping hot as soon as they put on the table. Our food came out in 12min after ordering. Last time I visited the food came out in less than 6min was so surprised. Still no complain on time waited for food, they give chips and salsa as you wait fir your food and the music they have playing is good. After getting our food and being stuffed, we alway ask for a to-go box because there's so much left over. Also tried there fried ice cream witch tasted amazing with and edible torita bowl. Jenna was consistant with her work in getting plates out the way after we were done eating them and alao refilling are drink on time. If you go eat here ask for Jenna she's the best. All the staff here are very friendly and nice definitely will be comming back here.

My husband ordered Los Amigos and paid for it. I go pick it up and at the counter you have someone working that barely speaks or understands English. Now before I left my husband says the food is paid for and the order number is 77. I get there and tell her and she grabs the ticket and I say can I get some pico de gallo and she she starts talking in Spanish. She says the price I say 3 times the order has been paid for she keeps ringing it up. She hands me a receipt and I done paid for the meal again. I am standing there a manager comes over and says what’s wrong. I tell him and I call my husband cause maybe it didn’t go through. He tells me yes he did and then another man comes up and they like this the 1st time you paid for this. I am like know it’s been paid for. Then the other guy comes up and says no it’s paid already. Then the manager says well we just got up here. I said that’s not my problem because I told yawl it was paid for 3 times. The manager says well are you going to pay for the pico de gallo. I said yes I was but you should give it to me for free for my inconvenience and the manager says oh I don’t have a problem with that but then he refunds my money which is going to take a few days and then turns around and charges me for the pico de gallo. I was so irritated I just left and then I get home and guess what I don’t have rice and beans with my Enchilada and on top of that the food is cold and the meat is dry. Other than waiter staring at my girlfriend and talking to her loud and clear and muddling to me appetizer was I thought was good girlfriend thought was awesome but then sat there for over an hour with tables seated after us getting their food got the attention of a different waiter told her I just wanted to pay for what I had had and leave which called the manager manager tried saying it just depends on how the tickets go in which I'm sorry tell me if you've ordered before other people sat shouldn't your order already be in or what happened the first in first out then waiter comes running around the corner with the food which I believe was his attempt to make up for such a long wait told them we did not want it and he took it away the manager brung the bill and apologize and then try to hit us up on our way out to see if we wanted the food which had already look cold I said no but my girlfriend said yes did not charge us for it got home went to eat it and it was nasty not to mention the thing I wanted most was the taco was missing in action how do you screw up an order that I already took so long to get will not be visiting again and what not even recommend my dog to try it do not recommend anyone to go not even to feed to their animals bathroom was disgusting one toilet had poop in it one toilet did not flush paper all over and door handle seemed like it was going to fall off in my hand when I went to open it that it was so loose do not know how they stay in business and and did not seem like they were applying to the 50 percent...
