El Chaparro — Restaurant in Yutan

We had a great time at El Chaparro, my mother and aunt frequent the establishment but it was my first time while visiting them today. They both got the special burrito I believe with multiple requests by both that were taken in stride by our very nice waitress. I had the grande burrito. We also started with queso and guacamole. The guacamole was awesome super fresh with chunks of fresh veggies. The food came out quickly and everything was as ordered. I had carnitas in my burrito which had great flavor and wasn’t dry at all. I asked for the hot salsa then they said they had an even spicier one as well which I opted for. It was a more orange in color which I assume was a habanero base that was super tasty with a nice kick but not too much where it loses the flavor. Was disappointing to see us as the only table in there at around noon on a Saturday. Prices are great, cheaper than fast food nowadays with a lot more quality and quantity. A lot of food. El Chaparro in Yutan is a total hidden gem! Their tacos al pastor were money – the meat was juicy and flavorful, and the flavor of pineapple added a nice sweetness. Very clean and well operated restaurant. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was excellent. I would recommend this eatery to anyone that wants to take a pleasant drive out of Omaha. Having never visited Yutan, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the town. I will go...
