Edit since my last scathing review: They seems to have fired the staff that could not function at this location. They haven't gotten a pizza wrong or mixed pizzas up since! They're faster, more accurate, and overall even friendlier. THIS is a Lit Pizza worth bearing the name of this wonderful franchise now.
Firstly, they got our orders wrong. This Lit Pizza Location seems to struggle with properly constructing "Create Your Own" pizzas. I've yet to see a well-trained employee since it's opening and I've finally had enough of poorly constructed pizzas in which all requested toppings are NOT on the pizza. Secondly, we were given the wrong pizza after the pizza cutting employee INSISTED it was ours. Whoever Flo is, I personally apologize that your pizza was forced into our hands as the pizza cutting employee tried to get us to leave because my father was rightfully confused an upset at yet another wrong order. And I'm sorry we were so frustrated that we didn't check the name on the paper to make sure it was ours. Further, I'm sorry the employee who handles the pizzas didn't think to double check either. Lastly, I caution anyone with food allergies to make sure every employee knows about your allergies at this location since I've often seen them switch stations as needed. The other locations I've been to switch out the cutters regularly or at LEAST wipe them off between pizzas for sanitation and allergy concerns. After watching my own pizza being cut with a dirty cutter used on 2-3 pizzas before mine, I asked the employee how often they clean the cutters. He told me almost every time. I expressed my concern about seeing the cutter used multiple times without so much as being wiped. I don't have to worry about food allergies, but a friend I bring there regularly does. He kind of just shrugged me off saying to let them know and they'll clean a cutter. I let it go. However, I will express my own concerns at being told they "wash them almost every time" then cut another 4-5 pizzas with the same dirty cutters.
I LOVE Lit Pizza. I do. But this location does NOT live up to Lit Pizza standards. And I'm tired of excusing continued unsatisfactory service because I thought I was making a mountain out of a mole hill and it's one of three pizza places in Zachary. He didnโt want to take it because he had his gloves on so she sat it on the counter by the sauce (no money should be where the food is) he then took his gloves off and put the money in his pocket. I wasnโt sure why the manager felt like she had to come I interrupt me ordering my pizza to have a conversation that could have waited . Then Taylor walks up and told him she would make our pizza . I noticed the number she was putting under my pizza was dirty. So I asked her was that dirt , she didnโt answer me she took her hand and removed the dirt and put it on the floor. Then she continued to put it under my pizza . I asked her again was that dirt . She said what kind of sauce you want . I asked again was that dirt because if so can I get another pizza crust and number . She then yelled and asked which sauce I wanted , I said you donโt have to get upset itโs a simple fix. She then said itโs clean cheese the numbers get washed daily. I said so the number was in the washer and still have old cheese on it can you please just get me another one . She throw the number down and walked off talking about me really loud and went to the back and left me and my daughter pizza just sitting there. I wasnโt loud or crazy with her at all. Then Makayla came and asked what I wanted on my pizza , she fixed our pizzas and sent us on our way ! And she provided great customer service. Please talk to the manager of the location she should never feel. Itโs okay to interrupt a customer for personal conversation that should have waited and when Taylor walked in the back yelling where she was she never came out . When finally returning home in the pouring cold rain, we discovered that our vegetarian pizza was completely wrong and had chicken all over it. Before leaving to go get the right pizza I asked if they could remake the right pizza so it would be fresh when I got there. The staff was completely unapologetic so I got the pizza and left. When I returned home for the second time my family told me that all of the pizzas were cold and the crust not cooked thoroughly. My mother then proceeded to call and talk to the manager who was extremely unprofessional and wanted to argue with her. He proceeded to tell her that he didnโt know what she wanted him to do about it and was horribly confrontational.
