Eagles Nest — Restaurant in Zavalla

We have been going to this resturant for years. Usually have good service and decent food. We went last night (Friday) for the seafood buffet. There was no shrimp, fish or crab left on buffet got told that it would be awhile til they would put food back on. The waitress was very rude and told us that no resturant is perfect and to just wait 30 min- hour. We said no thanks everyone at the table that ordered food was already finished eating. The lady with short blonde hair would not let us sit at a big table at all and she was very rude too us and I told her that my boyfriend Wayne beat stage 4 lung cancer. Stopped in while fishing at the lake and was pleasantly surprised. Went on a Sat for dinner and got there at 5:10pm (10 min after they opened) and it was packed. Had one table open, so get there right at 5, or wait until about 6. There's a seafood buffet on Fri and Sat dinner, which is what we got. Excellent fried and boiled cold shrimp, fried catfish, fried frog legs. The hot boiled shrimp was only ok. Not alot of sides, but you'll focus more on the seafood anyway.
